Competencies built
Upon completion of the Global Tobacco Control Leadership Program, participants will gain the following competencies:

• Planning and needs assessment
• Program design, implementation and program evaluation
• Research design, surveillance and monitoring
• Building networks and coalitions
• Advocacy and leadership in managing tobacco control change
